Read the steps
  1. The physician opens today’s clinic schedule in the oncology EMR. The research team’s inbox is on the right.
  2. They open Maria’s chart: recurrent triple-negative breast cancer. Dawn removes identifiers and prescreens her against the site’s three trials.
  3. A likely match appears before the chemotherapy plan is approved, with the reasons it may fit.
  4. One click on Notify research team, and the research team gets an email with the MRN, the trial and why it may fit. No patient name.
  5. A patient with no matching trial gets no alert, so there’s no interruption.
  6. A new referral’s pathology exists only in faxed outside records. Dawn reads the scanned PDFs with Azure AI Document Intelligence.
  7. The match comes from the scanned report: receptors and PD-L1 were read, de-identified, then screened.
  8. No login or portal for the physician. Identifiers are removed in the browser before screening.
